Ashley Tisdale is ready to suit up again as Sharpay Evans in her “High School Musical” spin-off, “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures“, and it seems that her real-life friend and former “HSM” co-star, Vanessa Hudgens isn’t against coming back as Gabriella Montez.
Hudgens, who is gearing up for the summer release of her flick “Beastly,” the “HSM” alum told MTV News this week that if Tisdale asked her to make a cameo in the flick, she’d be hard-pressed to say no. “Maybe!” she laughed. “If she’s like, ‘Hey!.’ I’d be like, ‘OK!’ Well, she’s my best, best friend. I don’t know.” Whether or not any on-screen reunion between the two Disney starlets should go down, Hudgens admits that “HSM” fans always had a soft spot for Sharpay’s flamboyant personality. “I’m stoked for her and it’s going to be awesome,” she said. “Kids love Sharpay and I did love Sharpay too, her costumes and her clothes and everything. It’s so much fun, so I’m really glad she’s doing it.” With Sharpay getting her own flick, once Hudgens’ very busy schedule calms down a bit, does she think that there’s room on the Disney channel for a Gabriella flick? “I don’t think my character has as many fun costumes as she does,” she said. “So, it’s not worth it” Tisdale will star in and executive-produce “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures,” which will shoot this summer. Exactly one year ago (April 14th), Ashley’s first single, “It’s Alright, It’s Ok,” off her second album, “Guilty Pleasure, was officially released. Ashley personally premiered the song on On Air with Ryan Seacrest and also released it in digital formats. Ashley had a large promotional tour for the single and the album as she performed the song on various different television shows in different countries and also performed live shows for her fans. Cameras have begun rolling on the set of Hellcats as the cast started filming the new CW pilot this week. Showing her excitement, Ashley took to her Twitter page to update fans on the new show. Check out her messages below:
